I have need for protection from ill intentions. I ask for goodness to be returned in kind and negative wishes to burn away.

I am sending a petition to the Lord of the Fireflies to pluck mischief-makers from our midst so they may harm none; for ill-will be repaid in equal measure, I ask that those who wish to cause disruption or destruction for personal gains be cast out of the sacred ring of fire.

May the intentions show itself, may the shadows dissipate before the Fire.

I have need for protection from ill intentions.

My observation about ill intentions is that they require about 20 times the amount of energy as anything else, and all that bad intention poisons the person who is trying to harm others, and erodes the good things in their life.

Think instead what that energy could do if directed by the person toward themselves in a good way. So for instance, instead of feeling spite, envy, and ill will, they could learn something new, or create, or read a new book, or simply buy themselves a gift and settle back and enjoy it. That's true personal gain.

Buy a new book, now that's a neat way to burn the mind.

I agree... yet there are those who foster the negative regardless...
